This comp has a core2 in it with socket 775 so definitely it is PCIe

Newegg.com - agp, LGA 775, Intel Motherboards, Motherboards, Computer Hardware
Correction. And IBM/DELL/HP like to use cheap crappy foxconn Motherboards or biostar..which isnt too bad, slightly better than foxconn but still.. they use this junk because....well there cheap..just making sure my man, i just dont want him to buy parts he cant use..like ME though i ALMOST thought you caught me on that one
your right there though, ill bet hes got pci express due to the fact that 98% of the lga775s are using pci
But..ill bet you hes doesnt have a 2.0 slot, now that wont cause problems, but he wont be able to take full advantage of the newer cards

You have PCIe for sure, dont make yourself confused, because there are some rare motherboards out with older slots which were aimed at people who wanted to keep their old hardware, but in every comp that is newly sold for some years there is PCIe
@Fury: sure there are even some 775 boards from other manufacturers with AGP, some even with DDR1, but they wont be put in a stock computer

I beg to differ, my moms ibm has an integrated gfx in her computer but it doesnt have a pci-e slot, it uses agp, the computer is less than 2 years old, and it has a foxconn motherboard. Pure example.
Theyd put it in a stock computer because its cheap, and they make money off of it. One of those name brand companys wont dish out the extra 70 bucks for a decent motherboard unless your paying for a gaming computer. He CLEARLY doesnt own a GAMING computer. If he could peel it apart and take pics of the inside, i bet you id prove you wrong. Instead of assuming, why dont you make sure. Its not your money hes using, so lets save him the trouble of having to wait 2 weeks for an RMA.

This comp HAS an PCIe slot because i know it, you dont have to put it apart
Other than that it would easier to read the manual instead of opening the case
The few 945 chipsets with AGP were very few and mostly not sold to OEMs because by that time it was way cheaper to build PCIe than AGP (as AGP became quite rare for mass oem boards).
