I love it when people fail to read what was put in front of them.
First, she is 19 now, not 13. Second, the search was ruled as reasonable initially, however the 9th US Circuit Court of Appeals found it excessive. "A federal appeals court found the search "traumatizing" and illegal."
"Common sense informs us," wrote the court, "that directing a 13-year-old girl to remove her clothes, partially revealing her breasts and pelvic area, for allegedly possessing ibuprofen ... was excessively intrusive."
Essentially, the search WAS conducted, and apparently the school officials do not deny any of her accusations, or else it wouldn't have gotten this far in the appeals process. The current issue is if school officials are allowed to conduct searches like this, not whether the strip search was actually conducted or not. That bridge has already been crossed, and at no point did school officials deny the search.
