I just found a very cool online RPG, and I thought I'd let ya all know about it. It's tons of fun. Lands of Hope is a huge browser rpg that has lots of graphics (the artwork is amazing), but also lots of text. There are over 45 professions you can choose from, and over 100 skills, including mining, farming, fishing, stealing, alchemy, and many more! You can craft/smith new equipment to sell to others, or use yourself.

Did I mention it's FREE?

You can evolve your race and class to be something even more powerful. You can also hatch/breed pets, which you can equip and train to grow stronger and help fight along side you in battle! You can go hunting for valuable and rare dragon eggs, which can hatch and become fearsome dragon pets. Actually, every mob in the game can be tamed if you have enough skill.

The community within the game is awesome as well, everyone is very nice. And the owner (Decius) actually comes into chat and talks to people and listens to their ideas.

I tried this browser game out. It is not a bad browser game, and its better than runescape in my opinion.

Yup, I agree. I played Runescape but got sick of it pretty quickly. This game has so much more to do than RS.

They just started a new Winter/Christmas event this month, and it's pretty cool. You have to do a bunch of quests for Old Man Westervale (who is obviously an imitation Santa, heh) and you get unique prizes like Christmas gift boxes, toy soldier pets, etc. It'll only be running this holiday season, so check it outtttt.

Haha, well, I know it looks weird, but I swear that guy that replied wasn't me. If an administrator or whatever wants to check, you'll see that's the truth.

I appreciate this is an old possibly dead thread started by a player, but I figured rather than spam the forums with news I'd tack some news on the end of it. I hope this is acceptable.

Lands of Hope will be four years old this July, we have a number of cool things planned to celebrate this including a brand new playable class "Gladiator" and a dungeon series based around the idea of being "shrunk".

On top of this in the past few months we have released an expansion pack called the Dark Depths which brings in a 5000 room dungeon for players to complete ...
