hardcore summoner build.

im having a hard time lvling up by my self. tho its a nice change rather than rushing and uber lvling a char. its actually more fun to play this way. but the hard part is getting the kills/exp. im thinking of using raz's guide but not only with mages but also with skelly warriors. so thats
20 skellies
20 mages
20 mastery
20 poison explosion
20 nova
altho i know i wouldnt be able to max all of those i was thinking which to max last and which should i add first so i could kill monsters by my self? my skellies are almost maxed and has a max of 8 raise. trying to max the mastery next. then should i put to poison nova/explosion or mages?
also im thinking of putting nothing in curses except amp.

im also thinking how much str i should add as base(thinking of 50) coz i dont have items yet. hopefully i can trade for some sooner or later. thanks

Max skeles and mastery first
Then Mages

My summoner went with what KG and I determined to be an effective build:

One into Bone armor, teeth, Corpse, Spear, Spirit, and Max Bone Wall. Maxing Bone Wall is good because its a synergy to both bone spirit and bone armor. this way u can absorb more dmg and survive better.

hm. so how much damage/absorb do you have with 1 spear/spirit/armor with maxed wall?
never thought of that if thats good then im getting those skills instead of poison

well i was gonna go spear and switched to spirit so i screwed up that part (not gonna remake a lvl92)..

I have like 460 bone armor, 720 spirit, and like 600 spear. I really only use it when there are phys immune that amp cant break and on baal, meph etc.

I always liked the max
-Skeles
-Skele Mast
-Spear
-Spirit
-Bone shield

That way you can go have skeles has an okay source of damage but also bonespear and bonespirit as another source of damage and Shield has a way of protection.
But also put one into
-Mages
-Revive
-Up to iron golem
-Golem mast and summon resist
-Teeth, bone wall, prision
-Amp and if you want work your way to Decrip.

Thats what I did and my summoner did fine.

what do you mean by go spear and switched to spirit? so thats 1 pt each to spirit and spear with max b wall right?

thats a nice setup too. but i would really like to max the mages for more meat shield. u mentioned maxed spear and spirit(with 1 pt to bwall/prison) how much damage do you make with those? im trying to compare a maxed bspirit/spear w/o synergy and 1 pt bspirit/spear with maxed synergy.
you also mentioned maxed b shield/armor. how much absorb does it make w/o adding much synergy

I followed Chan's guide to his Crytomancer and it rocks!
It's a little expensive at first but it'll pay off in survival. I haven't even been close to death as of yet and I try and run everything I can as to avoid tags.

People will say it's slow or whatever but believe me once you get used to it, it's not that slow at all. Multi-Auras FTW.

In fact, the only thing i decided to go against in Chans guide was that he uses a Fort on his merc armor whereas I prefer to use Bramble on her. Also, I decided to make an Insight Iron Golemn which is pretty cool. Constant Mana = good summoning and excellent nova.

I maxed skele's and mastery, Put 5 into golemn and mastery 5 into mages, 1 into revives and maxed poison nova and im currently maxing poison explosion too. I only use Amp Dmg as a curse and everything goes down pretty quickly.

Dont max mages. only one point will suffice. so:

Max Mastery, mages, poison nova, poison explosion, one into all other summons skills, one into the good curses (up to decrip, iron maiden, if pvm maybe confuse etc.)

Then make sure you get 1 into bone armor, and all extra points i say into poison dagger to boost poison nova dmg.

Bramble > Fort on a merc as dash said.

also, the multi aura stack, just pwns. you should try it out. just tele onto a monster, and epk. plus you never die.
