Planned updates for this forum - last update: 5/28/07
Well, I'm back as a staff member and I've decided to help out revamping this forum, Just General Gaming. So, here are my plans:
1. Updates to current stickies - namely the Free Games List and the Xfire thread.
2. Moving of threads into their appropriate sub-forum.
3. I'm thinking of either starting up the weekly gaming newsletter thing. But I do have duties elsewhere and if I do get a job (in real life) or not, these will affect if I plan to resurrect the weekly newsletter. But for the time being, is anyone interested in helping out?
4. Ideas for new stickies?
5. Ideas for new gaming-related events?
6. Any general ideas?
7. New weekly thread segments - one about newly announced PC games for the past week and the other about planned game releases for the coming week. (added May 20th)

I could prolli help with the newsletter thing but I am also in the same boat as you school,work,social life and forums all balanced so Idk how much help I could possibly be.

Just stay with two gaming forums rather than several. Have a regular one for PC and have one for console games. We don’t need one for every single genera, especially with the all-time-low population and disinterest of that section of the forum.
People can later label their games just like in the sports forums, with brackets.

I was thinking that too for a little bit, so possibly. Good of you for bringing that up.
Also a note, the first update, in a while, to the Free Games List was just made. Check it out. I highly suggest Streets of Rage Remake.

I realize its an old thread. I can read. Just heard you and Sir_pimp talking about updates to this forum like...a long time ago. In which case I read 2007 when it was suppose to take place.
Just wondering what happened to the plans thats all.

Creepy....yes. Thanks. Glad we took this to an awkward level.
I've had this same username with any games I play.
Had I known bumping this thread would get your panties in a bundle....probably still would have done it

But in all seriousness, Not sure if these changes ever happened. And to be completely honest, never knew that just posing on a 3 Year old post was actually considered bumping. lol. New to forums.

and yet in either case you look at it it shouldn't be an issue considering that it was a sticky.......it may have been dead but it was stuffed and put on a plaque above the fireplace for everyone to see now and then, and occasionally talk about.

Yea, I guess you're right, except when it is used as an excuse to boost post count...
Damnit...
Either way, I'm starting to give up hope... We had a nice revival there for a bit, and it seemed things were going to start changing, but alas we're screwed again and no changes are happening....
